Summary
A double degree allows you to study for two degrees at the same time. You will graduate with two different bachelor degrees, giving you career flexibility and different opportunities. For those who have interests in diverse areas, a double degree can broaden your skill set, provide complementary and enhanced knowledge and give you the flexibility to work in a number of different disciplines and industries when you graduate.
Qualification structure and duration
Double degrees usually take a couple of years longer than a normal, three to four year bachelor's degrees. For example, a double degree may take five to six years, while it would take seven or eight years to complete two individual degrees studied separately.
You may enrol in two degrees at the same time and cross-credit up to a maximum of 120 points. Certain combinations of degrees do allow additional cross-credits or exemptions.
